GreenLine Mobility Solutions, an Essar venture and operator of LNG and EV heavy trucks, has secured $275 million in equity funding, including $20 million from investor Nikhil Kamath.

The funding will support the deployment of over 10,000 LNG and EV trucks, and establish 100 LNG refuelling stations, EV charging points, and battery swapping facilities nationwide.

The initiative targets a reduction of 1 million tonnes of carbon emissions annually. GreenLine’s current fleet of 650 LNG trucks has already cut 10,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions over 38 million kilometres.
