Uttar Pradesh Clears Four Key Projects to Boost Logistics Growth
Uttar Pradesh has taken a key step toward strengthening its logistics and warehousing ecosystem by clearing unique identification numbers for four major projects, enabling them to move into execution. Approved by UPSIDA, the projects represent a combined investment of about ₹1,100 crore and are expected to generate significant employment across the state.
Facilities will be developed in Varanasi, Moradabad, Lucknow, and other locations by private players, expanding modern storage, distribution, and supply-chain capacity.
The projects fall under the Uttar Pradesh Warehousing and Logistics Policy 2022, which offers incentives, tax benefits, and facilitation support to investors. So far, UPSIDA has approved 45 logistics projects across nearly 650 acres with proposed investments exceeding ₹11,600 crore, reinforcing the state’s ambition to emerge as a major logistics hub.
