Uber Enters B2B Logistics Space Through Strategic Partnership with ONDC
Uber is set to enter India’s B2B logistics sector through a partnership with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), leveraging its fleet of 1.4 million drivers.
Initially focused on food deliveries for ONDC businesses, the service will later expand to e-commerce, grocery, pharmacy, and healthcare logistics.
This move follows the launch of Uber’s Courier XL and places it in competition with players like Shiprocket and Porter.
Uber also announced metro ticketing via its app, starting with Delhi Metro and expanding to three more cities in 2025. Both initiatives stem from a 2024 MoU with ONDC, aiming to integrate with India’s Digital Public Infrastructure and enhance multimodal transport and unified logistics services nationwide.
