New Logistics Training Centre

Hyderabad Launches New Logistics Training Centre

The Centre of Logistics Training Excellence was inaugurated at NSTI Hyderabad by Minister of State Jayant Chaudhary, marking a major boost to technology-led skilling for India’s logistics sector.

He highlighted that with the National Logistics Policy, PM Gati Shakti and rising multimodal infrastructure, India needs a workforce trained in automation, digital supply chains and emerging mobility systems.

Built by Redington Foundation and the Logistics Sector Skill Council, the centre expands the successful Chennai model, offering AR/VR tools, industry-grade simulators and training aligned with Industry 4.0. The facility includes labs for truck driving, warehouse operations and forklift training.

The new centre aims to improve employability, strengthen Telangana’s logistics talent pipeline and support India’s goal of building a globally competitive workforce.
