The Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India (AMTOI) held its 26th AGM at the Royal Bombay Yacht Club, Mumbai, attended by members, industry leaders, and stakeholders.

Dr. Sudhir Kohakade, Deputy Director General of Shipping, unveiled the revamped DG Shipping website and detailed the simplified MTO license renewal process.

AMTOI reviewed achievements in policy advocacy, trade facilitation, capacity building, and digital transformation, and felicitated members for long-standing contributions.

A new leadership team was elected: President Shantanu Bhadkamkar, Vice President Devpal Menon, Secretary Haresh Lalwani, and Treasurer Vasant Pathak. Kicking off his term, Bhadkamkar endorsed GST 2.0 to simplify compliance and reduce costs.

The AGM also highlighted preparations for India Maritime Week 2025 and concluded with a networking dinner.
