Andhra Pradesh Poised to Lead India Logistics Sector: CM Naidu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu unveiled an ambitious plan to make the state India’s leading logistics hub, leveraging its 1,053-km coastline to reduce logistics costs and boost industrial growth.
Key initiatives include establishing an Aviation University, a Logistics University, and the AP Logistics Corporation, alongside multi-modal connectivity through roads, railways, ports, airports, pipelines, and waterways. Four new ports and multiple airports, including Bhogapuram and Amaravati greenfield airport, will enhance infrastructure.
The state has attracted ₹10 lakh crore in private investments from major firms like Kia, Google, and Reliance, creating 4.71 lakh jobs across sectors. Naidu aims to position Andhra Pradesh as a $2.4 trillion economy with a skilled, knowledge-driven workforce.
